Community Involvement
Moose - The Heart of the Community
The Centreville Moose Lodge #2168 has been located in the City of Fairfax since 1999. Our Heart of Community efforts are focused on the Fairfax local community, as well as Moose Heart/Moosehaven, and several worthwhile charities that support the welfare of children, elderly, veterans and local first responders.
As a fraternal organization we support our community through a combination of donations and volunteer services. We maintain an ongoing program where members can donate food, eye glasses, clothing, and personal hygiene items, aluminum pull tabs, aluminum cans, and plastic bottle caps that are repurposed to assist various charitable services in our community.
Our fundraising efforts throughout the year allow us to make significant cash donations to charities that are in-line with our mission of supporting the welfare of children, the elderly, our veterans and local first responders.
